Types of Stars
There are many types of stars the main sequence includes most stars, it includes some blue stars, yellow stars and red stars, blue stars produce the most energy while red stars produce the least. this rule does not apply all the time as red giants produce more energy than most yellow stars.
How Stars Form
Stars form when clouds of dust begin to collapse. As the clouds collapse under their own gravity as the it gains a gravity a hot core eventually forms that later becomes the star. There is dust left over after the star is made and the remaining dust can be become other stars or planets.
Spectral class
spectral class is the classification of stars based on their properties. such as dwarf, giant, and their color.
